I just with i could see these kind of landscapes everyday
For the post process technique, well :
- square format crop
- duplication of layer then :
- shadows and hilights to reveal the clouds
- gradient mask to hide the road and the foreground
- fusion of these two layers
- s curve on the road (for contrast) (with mask)
- s curve on the clouds (also for contrast) with mask
- saturation (I think the yellow on the grass is too saturated)
- vigneting, frame & signature
- sharpening for print version, save
- resize (bilinear) and save for the screen version
