Manipulated or not, it conveys a decadent haunting elegance, spectral and textured. I could almost see Erik (the Phantom) taking lonely after hours vigils, finally in the open. A guilded sepulchre for a home.

It's very nice. My only criticism would be about the lights. Darkening them makes them look a kind of unnatural grey.

I do like how you've captured the lighting and the angles of the staircase. You've also given the viewer a sneak peek of what is upstairs. This is an amazing shot.
