Same place as here, here and here
That's the real name of this place -Porte d'Enfer in French-.
Located in the very north of the Guadeloupe island, there is a little beach surrounded with high cliffs.

A legend says that Man Coco (Madame Coco), an avide witch who pactised with the Devil and cannot hold her promise was drown here.
During stormy days you can see her ghost walking on the waves with an umbrella
Since one tells that one can become invulnerable if one takes 3 baths in the basin of the Gate of Hell, by calling upon Man Coco the witch.

Hell's Gate II by *svensson: The suggestor writes in French, "A romantic and dramatic work close to the engravings of the 19th century..." How interesting and poetic to see the past and the present combine for a unique result! ( Suggested by `Pixydream and Featured by `equivoque )

I like the sky here, how darkened it looks. Brilliant.
It looks so vast and quite breathtaking, great take!
